In the Regatta Room on Satuday, July 17th from 9am to 12pm, Len Cardoza will lead a round-table discussion on techniques, tips, and practical experience in anchoring. Bring your questions, comments, and most of all, entertaining and enlightening anchoring stroies/experiences!

We hope to cover the following:

Types of anchors, rodes, swivels, etc

How much scope to let out

Anchoring in different bottom conditions

Techniques (lowering, retrieval, storage, number of anchors aboard, etc...)

We also hope to discuss fouled anchors, contrary winds/currents...and, of course...Personal Vignettes
