The Oakland Yacht Club is a place where you can mix and mingle with boating enthusiasts of all stripes. Our membership houses a strong sailing community with interests in both racing and cruising, in addition to our spirited power-boating folks.
As a member, you will have our harbor, galley and bar, and excellent facilities available to you. We also have cruises to other clubs in the bay area, regularly scheduled races, social events, and educational opportunities to complement your boating experiences.
Initiation fees are waived for new members who bring a boat into our harbor! For new members bringing a boat into a 28' foot slip, not only is the initiation fee waived but the rent on the slip is only half for the first year. Currently, we have slips available in our marina at the following sizes: 28', 40', and 44'.
For standard memberships, the price to join is a $500 initiation fee, and the monthly dues are $85 per month. Harbor slip fees are based on the size of the boat. For more information on our memberships, including specials, please also visit Membership.
