How To Join OYC


Joining OYC is really easy! If you're ready now, you can just complete an application online listed below under the "Interested In Membership" section or print a copy of the application form. You can come by Club office (open Tues-Sat 9-6 / Sunday 10-5) for a copy. The office staff will be glad to help or give you a tour.

Two current regular members must sponsor your application, and the membership committee will help with that, if you don't already know someone. Your application gets posted for 14 days and then brought to a vote at the next meeting of the Board of Directors. That's it! During your application process, the Club's General Manager will help you to plan on bringing your boat into our harbor, if applicable.

If you are interested in learning more about membership at the Oakland Yacht Club, please complete the membership inquiry form and someone for the membership committee will contact you about joining the Oakland Yacht Club.
