Do I have to be a boat owner to join?
Certainly, a significant number of Club members do not possess a boat. The key is to have a passion for activities associated with boats or yachting. The Club serves as an excellent environment to connect with fellow enthusiasts, participating in boating events such as informal outings or the Club's various yacht races and organized cruising expeditions. Additionally, the Club hosts a variety of social gatherings throughout the year at our bar and restaurant encompassing elegant black-tie events, dining experiences, themed parties, dancing, and family-oriented events.

Are all power boaters, racing sailors, cruising sailors, dinghy racers, fishing enthusiasts, row boaters, kayakers welcome? Yes, the Club welcomes all types of boaters and boating activities. The Club has members with a wide range of boating interests – about half of the members are power boaters.

How can I obtain a slip at the Oakland Yacht Club Marina?
